Saluda Hydro Project Factoid:

Only two bulldozers were used in the construction of the original dam, completed in 1930.

Welcome

lsrDominion Energy (Dominion) is undergoing a multi-year, mandatory federal process known as "Relicensing" for its Saluda Hydroelectric Project. This process is governed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and will ultimately result in a new operating license that will determine operations and guide the management of the multiple resources associated with the Project, including Lake Murray, for the next 30 to 50 years.

The FERC Relicensing Process for the Saluda Hydro Project involves a variety of stakeholders, including state and federal resource agencies, state and local government, non-governmental organizations ("NGOs"), as well as individual home and boat owners. Together with Dominion, these stakeholders work to address the many operational, economic, and environmental issues associated with a new operating license for the Saluda Hydro Project.

Dominion hopes that you find this site informative and helpful. We welcome any comments, suggestions, or criticisms you might have and ask that you them to us.
